Black cherries, plums, white pepper, sandalwood, and chocolaty herb notes all emerge from the 2022 Tempranillo, a nicely textured, medium-bodied red with classic Tempranillo firm, focusing tannins. 2018 marked the 20th anniversary of Carly's Vineyard, a milestone that highlighted just how much we've grown—pun intended—since Kevin and Sherman planted the vineyard in 1998. To celebrate, we curated a special gift box showcasing the varietals they planted that year. We selected our favorite barrel of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, bottling each individually, while the remaining barrels were blended into our 2018 Estate Riserva. This exceptional wine later earned the prestigious title of 2022 Domestic Wine of the Year at the Winemaker Challenge in San Diego.
